When Black Lives Matter to Black people...

This past weekend Stevie Wonder was at a peace rally in Minneapolis where another officer was recently aquitted for shooting and killing an unarmed Black person.  In his speech he called for Black people to stop the violence, saying that we have the power to stop the violence amongst us.   Interestingly, just a few years ago when another officer was aquitted for the death of an unarmed Black male, I was highly criticized on Facebook as being "holier-than-thou" and insensitive for stating that when Black lives matter to Black people, the madness will stop.  Thank you Stevie Wonder for using your tremendous platform to speak truth.  I stand with you.
